Features

The FarmTek FK-P Polaris Event Timer is perfect for timing in a wide range of sports using automatic start or finish or both. The system uses wireless electric eyes for the automatic timing functions.

Designed in the US and supported here in Australia by AusSport the FK-P Timer has proven to be a reliable and well suited system for Australian conditions.

Easy to Use

  • Powered by batteries the timer runs for over 50 hours.
  • Low battery warnings from the electric eyes are shown on the console in the announcer’s booth!
  • A convenient keypad allows simple, single button access to the FK-P Polaris timers’ powerful features.
  • Different time formats are automatically selected for each event
  • Previous times are saved along with penalty and event-specific information
  • Accurate timing even when timer is stopped.
  • Alignment status of each electric eye is always shown on the status display
  • Multiple previous times saved as well as event-specific information

Options for Different Sports

RODEO TIMING

Time barrel racing, pole bending, roping (see below) team penning, cutting, bull riding and more! Includes the wireless FK-P Polaris Event Timer console, one set of wireless electric eyes, a tripod stand for each electric eye, a timer to PA horn cable (sounds the horn over your public address system), and batteries for all equipment.

ROPING EYES

Add an additional set of wireless electric eyes and Quick-Mounts to use as an electric-eye barrier on the header’s box. Add this option twice for a heeler barrier as well.

SHOW JUMPING

Includes the wireless FK-P Polaris Event Timer console, two sets of wireless electric eyes (for separate start and finish lines), a tripod stand for each electric eye, a timer to PA horn cable (sounds the horn over your public address system), and batteries for all equipment.

THIRD SET OF ELECTRIC EYES

Add an additional set of wireless electric eyes and tripods for Power & Speed classes and to provide flexibility in course design for standard classes.

LAP TIMING

Includes the wireless FK-P Polaris Event Timer console, one set of wireless electric eyes, a Quick-Mount for each electric eye, and batteries for all equipment.

DRAG / SPRINT TIMING

Time drag or sprint events which start at point “A” and finish at point “B” (drag racing, mud bog, sprints, etc.). Includes the wireless FK-P Polaris Event Timer console, two sets of wireless electric eyes, a tripod stand for each electric eye, and batteries for all equipment.
